Chapter 38 Behave Yourself, Red Spider, What Do You Think?
Chapter 38 Behave Yourself, Red Spider, What Do You Think?
The next day, Rosa got up at the same time as usual and went straight to the lobby. Today, Rosa didn't want to stay cooped up in her room anymore. Having just completed one objective, she didn't want to do anything more; she wanted to rest for a while.
So when she went to the ambulance to ask if there was anything fun in the base or if she could get out, everyone except Optimus Prime looked like they had seen a ghost.
"You're actually not going to continue doing research?" The partition was filled with shock.
"I just finished one, and I did too many recently, so I'm a bit weak now." Upon hearing this, the ambulance driver slapped her hard on the back.
He originally intended to casually tap her with a wrench, but then he remembered that Rosa's brain could be used for scientific research, so instead of damaging it, he patted her instead.
The ambulance withdrew a wrench.
"Okay, I'm off to surf the internet, bye!" Rosa said goodbye to the others and turned to leave...
The partition suggested that Rosa might be in a good mood recently because of her research achievements yesterday.
As the sun was about to set in the evening, the ambulance detected a signal: "Optimus Prime!" The ambulance saw the signal and called for Optimus Prime to come over.
“We detected a Decepticon energy signal.” The ambulance turned to look at the screen and added, “But it’s very old.”
"Ambulance... History always seems to repeat itself." Optimus Prime looked at the screen, dialed everyone out on the intercom, and prepared to go investigate together.

The land bridge opened in front of a broken section of the spaceship, and Optimus Prime led the Autobots out. Rosa wasn't wearing her armor this time because of the rush.
As they walked inside the spaceship, they encountered an unexpected TF—Black Widow. She looked exactly like an Autobot. Seeing the crowd, she turned and ran, disappearing into the soil at the broken section of the spaceship.
Left behind, the bound red spider?
It really is a spider. Is this some kind of internal strife?
But Arcee didn't care about Starscream; she was more interested in getting revenge on Black Widow. She climbed straight up the hole, ignoring Optimus Prime's shouts. Helpless, Optimus Prime transformed into his vehicle and rushed towards the spaceship's entrance to prevent Arcee from getting into trouble while fighting alone.
The other three Autobots, Rosa, Bumblebee, and Bulkhead, were watching Starscream with sinister eyes, as Starscream twisted like a maggot, trying to escape.
"You! What do you want?! Don't come any closer!" Red Spider shouted.
Red Spider: I want to escape, but I can't!
The partition grabbed Starscream and dragged him forward until they reached Optimus Prime and Arcana, where they discussed what to do.
"She'll get her comeuppance!" Several TFs overheard Arcee and Optimus Prime's conversation from a distance, separated by the partition.
"Revenge cannot bring back our lost companions, do you understand?"
"Hurry up!" the partition shouted, urging Red Spider forward.
"There's no need to use force, is there?" "Thud!" The partition slapped Red Spider, who lost his balance and fell to his knees.
“I can tell you everything,” Red Spider said, while the partition wore a sarcastic expression. “Is that so? And what do you want in return?”
“I want to join your side.” Everyone around hesitated for a moment upon hearing this, while Starscream launched into a long explanation of his treatment with the Decepticons: being monitored, humiliated, and belittled, and even Megatron wanting to kill him and have Black Widow take his place.
Arcee and Optimus Prime went to discuss things first, while Bumblebee and Rosa watched Starscream. Starscream originally wanted to make some small moves, but when he saw Bumblebee's fist and Rosa's smiling expression, he shivered.
-
In the end, the Autobots unanimously decided to temporarily take Starscream with them to find Black Widow. They even found a cargo box somewhere for Starscream to lie in.
Upon arrival, the partition unceremoniously dragged Starscream out. After he pointed in the right direction, the partition went to investigate while Optimus Prime and Bumblebee went to check, but Arcee had to stay behind.
"Please let me go." Hearing Arcee's voice, Optimus Prime turned around. "Revenge?" Optimus Prime shook his head slightly upon hearing this.
"The desire for revenge for the shield will only cloud your judgment... Rosa, you stay with Arcee." Rosa looked at Arcee's somewhat dejected figure, nodded, and walked to Arcee's side.
"Do you really have to lock me up?" Starscream began to struggle as Optimus Prime and the others left.
"I promise I won't fly away, my arms are cramping!" Even saying that wasn't enough. Arcee suggested he could stuff Red Spider into the cargo box, and Red Spider finally relented.
After waiting for a long time, Rosa watched as Arcee grew increasingly anxious, even pacing back and forth with some unease. "Hmm, if you're really worried... how about I go take a look from a distance?" Rosa sat on the cargo box, looking at Arcee.
“No, Rosa,” Arcee looked at her. “Optimus Prime wants us to stay here.”
"Okay," Rosa obediently sat on the cargo box, looking in the direction Optimus Prime had left in the distance.
"Hey... I'm telling you, you two, you know I'm not some big bad guy. The one who's invincible is that big devil." Rosa looked down at Red Spider when she heard the voice.
"Go tell others!" Arcee wasn't buying it.
"For example, who? Black Widow? Once I catch her, I'll see how I deal with her!"
“We’re on the same page on this point.” Starscream found that he could have something in common with Arcee and continued, “One day she suddenly appeared, and then it felt like she was the boss of this place. She was talking badly about me to Megatron behind my back, trying to take away my position step by step.”
Rosa looked at Red Spider, watching his incessant chatter, perhaps trying to distract Arcee?
Rosa crossed her legs, elbows on her knees, and propped her chin on her hand, watching them listlessly. But then she suddenly heard something interesting.
"That's right, she also killed my partner."
"What! She's actually trying to steal this credit from me! I did it!" Arcee exclaimed, sounding puzzled.
What! You weren't there!
"Of course I'm not there, I really don't know what I'm thinking," Red Spider realized something was wrong.
"Who are you talking about?!" Arcee also sensed something was wrong and moved closer to Red Spider.
Who are you talking about?
"Block" Arcee named her former partner.
"Who's the shield?" Starscream tilted her head, puzzled, while Arcee noticed something.
"It was you! You killed Clover!" Arcee shouted at Red Spider, her eyebrows furrowed.
“Oops, I didn’t see anything.” Rosa stood up on the cargo hold, raised one hand in salute to the audio receiver, then spread her wings and flew away, giving Arcee a chance to act.
Arcee didn't let Rosa stay. She knew what Rosa meant: "Go ahead, I won't stop you."
When Starscream saw Rosa's wings, he realized that the person who had kicked him with wings that day was Rosa, and that Rosa had no intention of stopping him.
"No, no, no! You've misunderstood!" Red Spider waved his hand. Although Rosa had flown far away, she was still a little worried. After thinking for a moment, she quietly extended a camera projection behind her to hide herself as she approached.
Watching closely can also prevent accidents, right?
“Overflying Mountain was fatally wounded back then. I just wanted to help him suffer less pain. He begged me to do it.” Red Spider came over and grabbed Arcee’s hand, but Arcee pushed him away. At this moment, Rosa was already walking back.
"Okay, okay, it's my fault. You wouldn't kill a defenseless prisoner, would you?" Starscream shouted, cowering in fear. But Rosa was already starting to sense something was wrong, especially when Arcee simply threw down the key, letting Starscream unlock the handcuffs himself.
Red Spider's feigned fear was so obvious that Rosa realized Arcee was in danger and rushed back, but it was too late. Before she could even call out to Arcee, Arcee was ambushed by Red Spider the moment she picked up the key.
Arcee winced in pain, clutching her side, while Red Spider unlocked the handcuffs.
"Is something wrong? Arcee, I thought you wanted to die..." Before she could finish speaking, a needle pierced her left palm. Red Spider cried out in pain. Then Rosa spread her wings, her tail dragging Red Spider dozens of meters off the ground before slamming him down hard.
"Which hand did you use to injure Arcee just now?" Rosa asked, crouching next to Red Spider.
"Fine, let's just call it this hand~ Sorry I'm being a bit hypocritical." Rosa pulled the syringe out of Red Spider's hand, and the acid inside dissolved a hole through Red Spider's palm.
Rosa stood up slightly, her legs bent, her body leaning forward. Her hands had already transformed into sharp claws, her arms hanging at her sides. Facing the Red Spider, who was trying to rise, she turned to look at Arcee.
"Arcy, what do you say?" Rosa tilted her head, turning her head to look at Arcie.
“Ask which hand killed Overlord, or,” Rosa looked at Starscream, “just ask for the other one.”
Red Spider was about to use his other hand to ambush Rosa, but seeing Rosa's crazed state and the needle-like tail with its tip pointing at him, glowing with a fluorescent blue light, he hesitated.
“You’d better behave yourself…” Rosa said to Red Spider. Her expression hadn’t shown any anger from the beginning; now it even looked somewhat aggrieved, though her lips were pouting and her eyes revealed a madness.
Her tone was threatening: "What do you think? Although they'll most likely spare your life, I actually prefer to kill you~" As she spoke, as if caressing, she used one claw to directly scratch the red spider's eye. The red spider hurriedly closed that eye, and the ear-piercing sizzling sound and the knife mark left behind indicated that Rosa's "caress" was intentional, and the claw was used with deliberate force.
A scar remained on one of the spider's eyes.
"Hmm—how does the acid feel? You won't mind if I inject it into your brain module, right?" Rosa remained in that position, her tail raised, tapping the red spider's head with the syringe.
Arcee, who was walking over from the side, was still somewhat angry, but when she saw Rosa's appearance just now, her rationality began to return, and she suddenly realized that she couldn't do that.
Starscream finally realized he preferred Arcee's anger, because Arcee wanted a one-on-one fight with him, while Rosa genuinely wanted to kill him, especially since he knew exactly what Rosa had done for the Decepticons...
This thing can really go crazy and do a live mukbang (eating broadcast)!
Clearly, Arcee also realized that she couldn't let Rosa continue like this.
Rosa's mental state is unstable; she can't kill Starscream here. Arcee can't set a bad example. Rosa's mental state, especially considering her young age... she can't afford to go astray...
"Rosa, let him go." Rosa was stunned upon hearing this, and glared at Red Spider with displeasure.
