Chapter 794 Past events (6)
"Didn't I tell you to hurry up? Why are you still following me?"
Ciqi looked impatiently at the people following behind him.
"You really want to hand me over? Let me tell you, even if you do, it won't matter. I'll just run away again, and then who knows if they'll even let you go?"
Mo Tingyan stopped behind him
I can help you.
"you?"
Ciqi glanced at him sideways, looking him up and down, then waved her hand.
"Child, go back to where you came from. This is not a place for you. I've already told you the way out; it's your choice if you don't want to take it."
Mo Tingyan hesitated for a moment before continuing.
"I've been following you for so long that I've long forgotten the way back."
Ciqi glanced at him sideways.
"Then stay close."
Ci Qi saw him standing there in a daze behind her, and quickened her pace to try and shake him off, but Mo Tingyan always managed to catch up.
Even if he took a complicated detour, he could still see Mo Tingyan's figure when he looked back.
You're like a stubborn leech, impossible to get rid of.
Mo Tingyan was also helpless.
"This is the first time I've heard anyone say that about me. But then again, I'm completely defenseless right now; only by being with you can I feel a little safe."
"Kids are such a hassle."
A reluctant, albeit compassionate, reply.
Mo, an adult, is a skilled fighter, knows the way but doesn't want to walk it, Tingyan
Okay, whatever you say.
The two walked together in an awkward atmosphere. Mo Tingyan glanced around warily; he had a nagging feeling in his right eyelid—something might be about to happen.
After much hesitation, he finally told Ciqi his guess.
Ci Qi looked at him with a contemptuous smile.
"A twitching right eye is a matter of scientific neurology and has nothing to do with metaphysics. I advise you to leave now and go to the hospital for treatment."
Mo Tingyan didn't listen; how could he possibly be so obedient?
Ci Qi suddenly crouched down and hid in the bushes, winking at Mo Tingyan before hiding behind a low clump of grass. She then beckoned Mo Tingyan to come over.
"Someone's coming. If you want to stay with me, you'd better hide with me, or you can go find those people now and tell them I'm here, then you can get out."
Ciqi just wanted this immature kid to leave quickly, so that if he were exposed, she wouldn't have to deal with so many complicated things and people.
Mo Tingyan obediently squatted down and inquired about Ciqi's family situation.
"Brother Ciqi, why are you hanging out with them?"
Children shouldn't pry into adults' affairs.
Ciqi impatiently shifted her gaze, focusing intently on the group of people walking past.
"Don't ask what you shouldn't ask, and don't pry into what you shouldn't pry into. Let me tell you, if you piss me off, I'll make sure you die right here."
As he spoke, he brandished the dagger in his hand.
Mo Tingyan watched calmly.
It's just a dagger, he has one too, and he wields it even better than Ciqi.
After scaring him, Ciqi continued walking. He didn't know where he was going, but seeing the sky gradually darkening, he knew he needed to find a safe place to spend the night.
They're resting, and those people won't be foolish enough to search for them in the middle of the night.
Mo Tingyan followed him like this.
"I said, how long do you intend to follow me?"
The kind-hearted woman was still very impatient.
"I have no choice; I'd get even more lost if I didn't follow you."
Ciqi found a relatively large tree to sit on.
"Tomorrow, I'll send you out. If we run into them on the way, I'm out of luck. But once you're out, if you dare utter a single word about me to anyone, don't blame me for being ruthless."
Mo Tingyan sat down opposite him
"A word is settled"
