Transformers: Leader's Proof - Fragile, but Hard to Kill

Chapter 31 Art is—

Chapter 31 Art is—

The ambulance developed the antidote at lightning speed, Optimus Prime was fine, and the entire base was celebrating.

After that, nothing much happened, and most of the humans left. Rosa, having confirmed everyone was alright, prepared to go back to her room. The magnetic energy-enhancing photon collector rifle could unleash tremendous power, although it took 30 minutes to charge.

There is a charging device, which is a bit difficult to study, as well as a 'battery' used to collect energy. She is not sure if, after a while, the charging device will explode because the battery is full and there is nowhere to put the excess energy.

As Rosa pondered this, she polished the basic parts. It was already a bit late after the celebration, and the important parts would be made tomorrow. She also needed to consult with an ambulance about some of the technologies.

The next day——

"The Cybertron Cup basketball tournament is now officially open—" Meiqi blew her whistle from the overhead access point for human maintenance, while below, the bumblebees and other animals played basketball.

Rosa ignored the commotion and discussed the feasibility of the charging device with the ambulance driver. The ambulance driver knew what Rosa wanted to do, but he thought that manual charging was better than self-charging, since most self-charging devices he had seen were relatively slow.

Until Rosa produced a design drawing, the ambulance's optical mirror lit up. It was ingenious; its self-charging speed was faster than any he had ever seen, but...

“This device isn’t very stable. I’ve seen a stable version before, but I didn’t know how it was made. I thought maybe you could help me.” Rosa shared her thoughts, while the ambulance driver stroked his chin thoughtfully.

“Actually, in my opinion, it’s already quite stable. It can reliably unleash sufficiently powerful energy, and it won’t easily explode unless there’s an unnecessary external force.” The ambulance shifted its gaze from the design draft to Rosa.

"That's the problem I want to solve. I'll provide it with batteries to collect energy, but I want it to run stably once the batteries are full without being blown up by its own overflowing energy." Rosa thought of the magnetic energy-enhancing photon collector rifle her grandmother made; they seemed largely the same, but something just felt missing.

“Then I think it’s missing something, like the charging device might be missing…” A loud crash interrupted Rosa’s conversation with the ambulance.

"Hey! That's a foul!" Meiqi slid down the ladder, whistled, and shouted. It turned out that Bumblebee had thrown the ball against the wall.

Hmm, that's a bit strange. Would a bumblebee do that?

"Bumblebee, the basket is over there." The guard pointed to the basket, and judging from the direction the ball was thrown, it seemed to have been thrown towards the guard, which was the opposite direction of the basket. This was very unusual.

In a flash, Rosa seemed to recall something. Looking towards Bumblebee, she quietly approached the ambulance's audio receiver.

"As an aside, is cortical-mental connectivity bidirectional?" Ambulance, noticing Bumblebee's recent unusual behavior, paused for a moment. "You mean...?"

Rosa nodded. "Let's wait and see."

After talking with the ambulance, Rosa went back to try to continue building the parts. She finally assembled all the parts before going to bed that night, but it was too late and she was afraid of disturbing the other Autobots, so she decided to test it the next day.

-

At 8:30, Rosa was already online on the charging bed, but she wasn't very hungry yet, so she didn't go out to the living room. Instead, she checked the device one last time in the room to make sure there wouldn't be any mistakes when she turned it on.

—Yes, continue, little spy, as I command—

Megatron's voice echoed continuously within Bumblebee's brain module, blurring Bumblebee's will and controlling him to walk to the flashlight used for repairs on the ambulance...

"Crunch." Bumblebee crushed the flashlight in his hand.

"Bumblebee!!" The ambulance's voice rang out behind him. "I still need this!" The ambulance could clearly sense that Bumblebee was definitely having problems lately, and when Bumblebee said that he often saw Megatron's face, he became even more certain of his guess.

"Beep beep—" Arcee rang the ambulance's internal communication channel.

"Ambulance, is Bumblebee with you?"

The ambulance driver looked at the bumblebee beside him. "He's here. What happened?"

“Jack just contacted me. Raffi doesn’t have class today. Bumblebee was supposed to pick him up today. What happened to him?” Arcee was still training. She had picked Jack up for class and then went back to the base to train. She had just received a message from Jack that Raffi was still waiting for Bumblebee at his doorstep.

“There’s a problem. We need to ask Rosa if she’s still in her room.” “I’ll contact her.” Arcee hung up and walked towards Rosa’s room while selecting Rosa’s communicator.

The ambulance opened the land bridge and took Laffey to the base. Laffey originally wanted to chat with Bumblebee, but saw Bumblebee sitting somewhat dejectedly on a chair in the lobby.

"Bumblebee? What's wrong?" Laffey rushed over to Bumblebee's feet, clutching his laptop.

“Let’s wait for Rosa to come and check on the situation. She’s been possessed before, so she might… might know how to deal with this kind of situation.”

Just as Rosa turned on the device to test it, she received an internal call from Arcee. Before she could even respond, she saw the device in her hand, which had been green, turning red. In a panic, she cut off the power supply.

"Rosa? Rosa?!" Rosa, having finally cut off the transmission, had time to respond to Arcee. "Sorry, I was a little..." Rosa got up from her chair and took two steps away when she suddenly heard the sound of glass shattering behind her. She immediately turned around... "Crack..." A faint crack appeared on the outer shell of the device.

"It seems like I need w-bomm!!"

As the red-glowing device cracked open, Rosa watched helplessly as it exploded before she could finish speaking. With a deafening roar, even the door was warped from the blast.

"Rosa? Rosa?!" "Zzzzt—" Arcee, who had just passed through the hall, heard the commotion from Rosa's side and immediately sensed something was wrong. She rushed over and saw from afar that the door to Rosa's room had been warped and bulged out by the explosion.

Rosa was using her claws to pry open the door a little, trying to leave the room.

"Arcy, you and Optimus Prime go to the Arctic to stop Starscream from melting the glaciers. Leave this to me." The ambulance also came over to help Rosa pry open the door. Arcee hesitated for a moment, then turned back to the hall to go on her mission with Optimus Prime.

"Cough cough!" Rosa waved away the thick smoke in front of her, and with the great effort of the ambulance driver, she finally managed to escape the room filled with smoke and a pungent smell.

"How did it get like this?" The ambulance driver covered his face in exasperation. The last time he saw a scene like this was when Bumblebee and Raffi were doing their science homework.

"Overloaded," Rosa said, brushing the dust off her clothes. The ambulance driver's lips twitched as he said, "Next time, use a different word, like 'overloaded'."

"Huh? Why?" Rosa followed the ambulance back to the lobby. She didn't quite understand why the wording had changed; perhaps she didn't know what "overload" meant in TF.

“Don’t ask. Also, Bumblebee said he keeps seeing Megatron’s face lately, like a hallucination…” Rosa paused.

"There's no hope, just bury him somewhere."

"Huh?" The ambulance driver turned around in confusion to look at Rosa, who was making a perplexing statement.

"Just kidding, where is he?"

In the lobby
