Chapter 53 On the Eve of the Rescue

The ambulance contacted Agent Fuller, who immediately ordered a batch of blacksmithing equipment (the size of a Cybertronian) and delivered it the next day when it was finished.

Next, Rosa spent the whole day in the weapons research room next to the hall drawing up blueprints for some simple parts, and then gave them to the ambulance so that he could find humans to make them first.

After a night's rest, the next day the weapons research lab was filled with clanging and banging.

Because she wants to do the important parts herself, and there are some technologies she won't let those humans get. Back in her hometown, human ambition almost led to their complete annihilation.

“If others need rescue, Optimus Prime can definitely find a way. I can’t, it’s that simple.” Arcee said, and Rosa slowly peeked back. The atmosphere wasn’t good right now, so she decided to quietly go to the energy storage room and get something to eat.

The energy storage facility was quite close to the main hall, just a short walk away. Rosa, with her deadpan eyes, drank a can of super energy as she walked towards her research lab.

"Let them finish building the space bridge!" Rosa heard Jack's voice again as they approached the hall. She took a sip of her energy and continued to peek around the hall entrance.

"Why? Make them bring more zombies from Cybertron? We could have waited for Rosa..." Partition was still agitated, but was interrupted by Ratchet. "Partition, Rosa can't possibly finish it so quickly. The batch of blueprints given to humans will take at least two weeks to make the parts."

The ambulance driver looked helplessly at the partition. "We don't have that much time to wait. We don't even know if Optimus Prime is still safe and sound."

“No, we can take it! Let him send me to Cybertron!” Jack said. “Wow, that’s a great idea.”

“Even Meiqi thinks this is a good idea…” Arcee smiled sarcastically. Everyone knows that Meiqi is the most troublesome.

Jack shook his head. "Nobody said this was easy, but you guys have taken over the Space Bridge before."

"We blew one up before," the partition thought for a moment. "But that was Rosa's doing; whether we can hold it or not is another matter..."

"Buzz... Beep beep"

“Indeed, we still need to find it first.” Arcee said thoughtfully, while Rosa continued to watch the show. Their problem now was that they didn’t know where the Space Bridge was. Finding the Decepticons’ Space Bridge was like looking for a screw in a junkyard.

Rosa stopped listening after that. After finishing the energy drink, she casually put the can in the house and chose to continue working, hoping to finish making all the parts as soon as possible.

Rosa was still working away, while the others were searching for energy signals. After a whole day, they returned from the partition at night, planning to use the land bridge to search another location.

Just then, something was detected at the Autobot base.

"It's a high-frequency signal with an embedded message?" The ambulance driver's eyes widened slightly. "For me?"

"Is that Optimus Prime?" The panelman watched from behind as the ambulance connected to the caller ID. "It's Starscream. I have some very important information about your leader... Will you come alone with a medkit?"

After thinking for a while, the ambulance called Rosa out temporarily and told her to stay in the lobby and keep an eye on the base's information, in case Arcee and Bumblebee came back and couldn't open the land bridge.

The ambulance and partition had barely entered the land bridge when they came out again. Seeing Rosa's questioning look, he explained that he had come back to get something.

Then the ambulance went into the lab, took something, and returned to the land bridge.

Rosa looked at the canister the ambulance was carrying and felt a strange sense of familiarity about it.

It was actually her saliva, used to repair the red spider's pricked palm that Rosa had pierced.

When the ambulance returned with the medical kit, Rosa noticed that the ambulance driver was in a much better mood.

"Rosa, it's late, you should go back and rest." The ambulance driver casually put the medical kit away. It seemed they had found some information; something big was likely to happen tomorrow.

Rosa raised an eyebrow slightly and smiled at the ambulance, clearly having figured it out. Rosa nodded and went back to pack her things.

The next morning, the ambulance opened the base panel and entered the coordinates for the others to see.

"According to intelligence, the Decepticons' space bridge is located here, hidden deep within a super-energy mine," Ratchet said, pointing to the map coordinates.

Arcee nodded. "Building it right next to the energy source? Very clever. Where did you get that information?"

The ambulance and the partition exchanged glances. "He's a reliable informant." Moving on to the main point, since it was Jack who needed to go to Cybertron, they also needed to consult Jack and several other humans.

"So you have no objections, right?" The ambulance turned to look at them, and Nurse Darby asked first, "Can humans breathe the air on your planet?"

It was obviously impossible, so Agent Fuller put his arm around Jack's shoulder and said, "Get a spacesuit?" Sensing Ms. Darby's unfriendly gaze, he added, "Absolutely the most advanced. I know people at NASA."

“This is too dangerous…” Jane Darby looked at Jack with great concern.

“Mom, I know this is dangerous.” Jack stepped forward. “But Optimus Prime once risked his life to save the Earth. For that alone, we owe him.”

“Although only Jack can do this,” Jack’s partner Arcee also stepped forward, “I won’t leave him there alone and helpless no matter what.” The ambulance also spoke up for Jack at this moment.

The rest is much easier. Once they find and capture the space bridge, they can use the land bridge to teleport Jack there, and then open the space bridge to teleport Jack to Cybertron.

The ambulance will also be going there, so Raffi, Maggie, Agent Fuller, and Nurse Darby will all stay at the base and be on standby.

Everything was ready—a blue-green light appeared, and all the Autobots stepped onto the land bridge.
