Chapter 19 The Brewing and Explosion of Emotions

As autumn winds began to blow, the ginkgo leaves on campus started to turn yellow. Each fallen leaf, like a fragment of time, gently landed on Shen Yichen and Lin Youran's shoulders. They walked side by side on the tree-lined path of the campus, the fallen leaves rustling under their feet, as if telling a story of youth.

Looking at Lin Youran, Shen Yichen felt a surge of protective instinct. He gently took her hand and said softly, "Youran, don't worry. Everyone experiences confusion and uncertainty; it's part of growing up. We can explore and try things together to find what we truly love. I believe that as long as we stay true to our original aspirations and hold firm to our beliefs, we will definitely find our own path."

Hearing this, Lin Youran felt a surge of warmth in her heart. She gripped Shen Yichen's hand tightly, as if she had found someone to lean on. "Yes, Yichen, I believe in you. Let's cheer each other on!"

However, their confusion and uncertainty did not disappear despite their mutual encouragement. In the days that followed, Shen Yichen and Lin Youran began to explore their interests and futures. They participated in various lectures, internships, and volunteer activities, hoping to find some clues.

Shen Yichen excelled in the debate club activities, greatly improving his logical thinking and eloquence. He began to consider whether he was suited for a career related to law or politics. Lin Youran, on the other hand, discovered her interests in the literary club activities. She began to try her hand at writing and editing, and gradually fell in love with this way of expressing emotions and thoughts through words.

Shen Yichen found that working in the legal and political fields requires strong professional knowledge and practical experience, and his current knowledge and skills were far from sufficient. Lin Youran, on the other hand, found that while writing and editing were interesting, the competition was also fierce, and achieving success in this field was not easy.
