Help Support Toys for Tots 2009!!
The Hampshire Dome, Brazilian Art Soccer and Nashua World Cup Soccer are proud to support the 2009 Toys for Tots program!!!

We would like to invite you to be part of this great experience of giving and having lots of fun!  Bring your kids 5 to 17 years of age to train and play with our coaches so they can have a good time while helping the less privileged kids in our community by donating a new and unwrapped toy at the time of event.

We will be also offering a pick up soccer game for adults from 1pm to 3pm (great opportunity for you to burn the extra calories from the Thanksgiving meal!).

The event will be held on November 27th, starting at 9:00 am.  Please see the link below for exact details.

Congrats to the 2009 Delta Cup Finanlists!!
Congratulations to the  World Cup GU12 11v11 team who made it to the Finals in the Delta Cup - which is a pre-Labor Day tournament held by the Delta Soccer Club of Massachusetts.  They faced stiff competition from some great local teams, but battled their way through to the Finals where they faced off against the 3rd ranked team in Massachusetts - Crusaders United.

Although the Crusaders won the final match 3-1, our girls should be very proud of their outstanding play in the tournament.

Congratulations girls!!

CONGRATULATIONS TO NASHUA WORLD CUP NH STATE CUP CHAMPIONS/FINALISTS!

Eight teams from Nashua World Cup recently participated in the NH State Cup Tournament. Four of the teams made it through the round robin and playoff stages of the tournament to advance to the State Cup Finals.

The U17 Boys Nashua World Cup Wolves, coached by Pat Mulcahy, defeated Seacoast United 1-0 in the State Finals to repeat as NH State Cup Champions. The finals were a hard fought battle between both teams that took over 3 hours because of lightning delays. The U17 boys advanced to represent NH at the Regional Championships in Huntington, WV.

The U12 Girls Nashua World Cup Fire, also coached by Pat Mulcahy, played an exciting State Cup Finals match versus Seacoast United that remained tied through regulation and two overtime periods. The game ended after 12 shooters from each team took kicks from the mark. The U12 girls lost, but still advanced as the wildcard winner to represent the state of NH at the Regional Championships in Huntington, WV.

The U15 Boys Nashua World Cup Hurricanes, coached by Paul Ostberg, also made it to the finals.  The U15 boys also lost in the finals, but represented the state of NH very well in the Presidents Cup Sub-Regional held in Londonderry, NH.

The U19 Boys Nashua World Cup team, coached by Joel Ogbunimari also made it to the NH State Cup finals.  Unfortunately our boys lost, but put a very strong fight.

Congratulations to the players, their coaches and parents.

U-15 GIRLS GARNER SILVER MEDALS AND FAIR PLAY AWARD AT 2009 OPEN CUP

Pembroke: After a stellar win against Amherst in the semi finals one week ago, the Nashua World Cup U-15 girls came up just short in their quest to secure their first Open Cup championship with a loss to the Lakes Region Lakers in a rain swept final on Sunday. Despite the soggy conditions, the team had several stellar individual performances throughout the tournament. Both opposing coaches and officials had high praise for the team's defensive play and central defender Mandy Desroachers was repeatedly singled out for her aggressive play throughout the match.

In addition to the silver medals the team earned, La Furia Roja were also honored with the coveted Fair Play award, given annually to the team that demonstrates the sportsmanship, values, and ideals that best emobody the spirit of the game.

GAME/PRACTICE CANCELLATIONS
The Nashua Soccer Council decides when to close the Nashua fields due to weather or field conditions.  The decision on the Farm to cancel practice will be made by the Club officials but will typically follow what the Soccer Council decides unless the weather and/or field conditions are drastically different.
