The NWC U16 Wolves, coached by Tony Bellinger, went undefeated in the State Cup Round Robin over the last few weekends. They beat Seacoast United 3-0 in the first game of the Round Robin then tied the NH Classics 2-2 to finish first in their grouping.
The Wolves advanced to the State Final game on June 1st and defeated the NH Classics 3-2 to become the NH State Cup Champions. The Wolves will now move on to the USYSA Regionals June 26th-30th to play the state champions of other Region 1 states. This is a huge accomplishment to win the State Cup, so if you see a U16 player please congratulate them and wish them luck in regionals. NWC is very proud of them!
Go Wolves!

The following World Cup teams all received the NH Soccer Association State Cup Fair Play Award for their demonstration of sportsmanship and fair play while competing in the NHSA State Cup this past Spring. State Cup is very hard, demanding and competitive environment and these awards show that World Cup teams not only play tough and hard, but we play fair and demonstrate great sportsmanship. This is a great reflection of World Cup as a club, it's team, it's coaches and most of all it's players.
U16 Boys coached by Tony Bellinger (also State Cup Champions!)
U16 Girls coached by Dan Wyborney
U15 Girls coached by Tim Castle
U14 Boys coached by Bruno Victal
Keep it up!

Congratulations also goes out to both of our U14B teams coached by Bruno Victal and Pat Mulcahy. Both teams battled through the round robin phase of the State Cup to reach the semi-finals, but unfortunately fell short, with one team losing to Seacoast 2-0 and the other losing to NH Classics 2-1. NWC is still very proud of both of these teams accomplishment!

Our U13 Boys Premier team, coached by Tom Bellen, recently went undefeated in the 2008 Round Robin phase of the NHSA State Cup. The team beat Upper Valley Lightning (4-1) and posted ties verses Nashua Soccer Club (1-1) and eventual State Cup finalists Seacoast United (1-1) and NH Classics (0-0). Although the boys fell short of making the State Cup finals on points, it's still a great achievement to go undefeated in the State Cup preliminary rounds. Congratulations!

On Saturday April 12th 2008, World Cup Soccer hosted our 2nd annual World Cup Dome Day. A day long event held in conjunction with the Hampshire Dome. Every World Cup team got a chance to play together before going outdoors. Each team played two shorter games against other World Cup teams of similiar age/ability. Everyone enjoyed the free pizza and all the kids enjoyed bouncing in the inflatable fun houses. Thanks to all who participated and a big THANKS to the Hampshire Dome for hosting such a great event. Hopefully we can make it a success again next year.

The Nashua Soccer Council decides when to close the Nashua fields due to weather or field conditions. The decision on the Farm to cancel practice will be made by the Club officials but will typically follow what the Soccer Council decides unless the weather and/or field conditions are drastically different.
